Data Migration

New

  • Updated schema definition

    • previous definition is still supported and columns remain (except for constraints which are now explicit, see below).
    • Adds column for CHARACTER_FIXED_LENGTH.
    • Adds explicit constraint columns for: COLUMN_CONSTRAINT_PRIMARY, COLUMN_CONSTRAINT_FOREIGN, COLUMN_CONSTRAINT_CHECK, COLUMN_CONSTRAINT_UNIQUE, COLUMN_CONSTRAINT_OTHER.

  • Mapping Explanation
    • Add a simple explanation to a mapping (via a new tab in mapping details) so that non technical users can understand why and how a source and transformation is being applied.
  • Lock/Unlock mappings
    • Admins can lock/unlock a mapping to prevent non admin users from editing them.
  • BETA - ask your Customer Success person for a demo
    • Updated data types and constraints - easier to set and apply across the process.
    • Data file validation - check an associated data file's conformity against the schema definition.
